How much does this service cost?
This depends greatly on the artist/s you decide to sponsor and is usually determined primarily by their follower numbers, engagement rates, the platforms they use, and the type of endorsement they provide. There is no one set price for influencer marketing, so it relies heavily on the above-mentioned factors as well as market value at a particular time.
It’s completely free to sign up. We will charge a 6% service fee (plus transaction fees if outside the UK) on each order; that is the only upfront cost charged by us once you have decided to sponsor an artist.
What kind of online marketing is available with SoundSight?
We offer different levels of endorsement on our artists’ social media accounts, this might include logo placements, product endorsements/appearances and tags or personal mentions to their audience. Depending on the channels available, there may be marketing opportunities on their websites and in some cases live events too.
All of our artists have menus outlining the different marketing assets they offer with prices, typically across gold, silver & bronze categories, as well as being open to your suggestions. Essentially it’s up to you and the artists!
What kind of artist influencers are available with SoundSight?
We have a broad range of artists spanning a host of different countries, music genres and audience sizes. If you think a hard rock band would be most suitable for endorsement, we can provide, or if you think a hip-hop or dance music artist would be most appropriate that’s no problem!
Our artists will typically be of micro-influencer status, meaning they have an engaged audience reach of at least several thousand all the way up to 100k; this is because we believe micro-influencers are most effective in reaching and converting engaged niche audiences. You’ll always be given extensive details of their social stats & audience analytics to help you decide which artist is right for you.
Will we be locked into an agreement, and how long will it last?
You can order any number of endorsement assets (with a minimum purchase of 2 posts required) from our artists; ultimately it’s up to you how much you order and when they are delivered. Essentially you won’t be locked into an agreement beyond the amount of endorsement assets you have ordered from them, once you have purchased the assets, it’s the artist’s job to deliver the content OR YOU WILL BE REFUNDED. We will always match you with artists that have similar commitments in mind.
Why are there only musical artist influencers at SoundSight?
We are a company committed to supporting the independent sector of the music industry, and the best way to do this is by giving established independent artists the opportunity to earn extra ancillary income by promoting the products/services they love – and there are more and more DIY artists now going independent than ever before, many of whom have large online audiences.
We believe there is much untapped influencer potential within the DIY artist sector, and lastly something to keep in mind is that if you use us for your influencer marketing, you’ll be supporting the independent music industry, as well as artists around the world who have been extremely hard hit by the pandemic and are in most need of extra income!
